About Liquid Stranger
Liquid Stranger is the project headed by Martin Stääf, launched in 2003 in Varberg, Sweden. Traveling in the uncharted terrains of music, Liquid Stranger's creative output ranges from suggestive ambient soundscapes to movie scores, pop, dub, infernalia, drill n bass, and electronica. Always pushing the sonic boundaries and merging genres, Liquid Stranger consistently creates a soulful blend of unique atmospheres and grooves. Liquid Stranger's debut album The Invisible Conquest was released on Interchill Records in 2007 followed by The Intergalactic Slapstick released late 2009 with his most recent album The Private Riot released on Rottun Recordings. The song "Ripple" hit number 1 on Beatport's top download charts for an extended period of time. Liquid Stranger is a signed artist represented via the multimedia label known as Psymbolic.
In addition to mainly working under his Liquid Stranger name, he has released music under other aliases: Rhoca (breakbeat), Bloatsucher (IDM) and Slugger (Goa Trance)
